Mission statement
To influence people toward godly values in political realms
Reason
As many believe life on earth (or possibly the universe) has a limited time, and many claim to see signs that time is running out, they see that religion and politics will merge. As in Mark Ch. 13: ‘And Jesus began to say to them “Take heed that no one leads you astray. Many will come in my name, saying ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray. And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places, there will be famines; this is but the beginning of the sufferings”. (v. 5-8, RSV)
And, many Christians believe that the Bible describes one end-times government, led by an an anti-Christ, as in Revelation Ch. 13. “And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them; and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation, was given to him”. And: “… and he provides that no one should be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name”. (Rev. 13: verses 7 and 17, NASB)
